NVIDIA ACE debuts in PUBG through Ally Duo Mode
NVIDIA ACE is now available in PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS through Ally Duo Mode, a new Arcade beta that adds an AI teammate to the player’s squad.
The mode is available now on Steam and will remain live for two weeks, ending June 30. KRAFTON will use the beta to collect player feedback for future AI agents in games.

PUBG Ally is a context-aware AI teammate developed by KRAFTON and NVIDIA. It can loot, fight, navigate and react to battlefield situations without requiring constant input from the player. The teammate supports both voice and text commands. According to NVIDIA, it understands PUBG-specific terminology, player callouts, map locations and item attributes.
You can team up with PUBG Ally in Ally Duo Mode through PUBG Arcade, for the next two weeks, until June 30th, via Steam.

The system combines a traditional behavior tree with NVIDIA ACE. The behavior tree handles fast actions such as movement, aiming and combat responses, while ACE handles the AI layer for command interpretation, decision-making and voice replies.
NVIDIA says the AI models run locally on GeForce RTX GPUs with at least 8GB of VRAM. The pipeline uses NVIDIA Parakeet for English speech-to-text, Mistral-Nemo-Minitron as a 2 billion parameter small language model and a KRAFTON in-house text-to-speech model for voice output.
