Lenovo AI Host Mini launches 12-core Arm SoC for $444
Lenovo has listed its AI Host Mini in China, a compact desktop system built for local AI tasks and always-on personal AI services.
The system is now in pre-sale for 2,999 RMB, which is around $444 based on the current rates. The listing says shipments are expected to begin on July 1.
Cixin P1 with 45 TOPS
The mini PC uses the Cixin P1 CD8180 processor. This is a 6nm Arm-based SoC with a 12-core Armv9.2 CPU, a 10-core Arm Immortalis-G720 GPU and an NPU rated at 30 TOPS.
Lenovo lists total AI compute at 45 TOPS. The system comes with 8GB LPDDR5-6000 memory and a 256GB SSD , so this is an entry-level local AI box rather than a workstation-class system.
The chassis measures 100 × 100 × 48.65 mm and weighs around 0.373 kg. Lenovo also advertises it as a 0.48L mini host, small enough to sit on a desk or shelf without taking much space.
Claw and Ubuntu support
The AI Host Mini ships with Lenovo’s Tianxi Claw platform (so no Windows or bare Linux here). The company says users can configure the device by scanning a QR code with a phone, then deploy AI functions through its Skills system.
The platform supports more than 20 preinstalled Skills, access to an 8000+ Skills marketplace and integration with QQ, WeChat and Feishu. Lenovo also says the system can run several Claw instances and support shared use by multiple people.

For I/O, the system has two USB 3.2 Type-A ports, two full-function USB-C ports, two USB 2.0 ports, DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 1.4 and 2.5GbE. The JD listing also shows Ubuntu as the operating system and mentions developer mode support.
It goes without saying but in this form the Min-PC will only be sold in China. Since Microsoft has not made a wider push for Windows on ARM yet that would support vendors apart from Qualcomm and (soon) NVIDIA, installing Windows on this sytem may be a challenge. So not a normal Mini-PC for everyday use, more like like agentic PC based on special hardware. Still, great to some something new in this market.
