HWiNFO beta adds MSI Claw 8 fan monitoring and improved Nova Lake support

HWiNFO beta updates Intel PresentMon and adds NVIDIA XBAR clock monitoring

HWiNFO v8.49-6000 Beta is now available with new monitoring updates for MSI’s Claw handheld and Intel’s upcoming Nova Lake platform.

The beta adds fan speed monitoring for the MSI Claw 8. It also improves Intel Nova Lake support and enhances sensor monitoring on Maxsun 275HX series systems. Intel PresentMon has also been updated in this release.

New NVIDIA GPU clock sensors

For NVIDIA GPUs, HWiNFO now adds monitoring for measured Core, Memory and XBAR clocks. This should give users more direct telemetry in the Sensors window and logs, depending on the GPU and driver support.

This continues a recent run of HWiNFO updates focused on new Intel platforms and GPU telemetry. We previously covered HWiNFO 8.42 , which also improved Nova Lake support and added extra NVIDIA GPU reporting.

However, users may want to skip this exact beta for now if they rely on custom sensors. A forum user reported that custom sensors stopped showing after the update, and HWiNFO author Martin later confirmed a bug in the latest beta build that can cause custom sensors to disappear. The issue should be fixed in the next build.
