ASUS ROG Zephyrus G16 with 160W RTX 5080 now listed in the US
US listing adds 64GB RAM and 160W RTX 5080 GPU.

ASUS has added a new ROG Zephyrus G16 (2026) configuration to its US store. The model is listed as GU606AW-XB97 and pairs Intel’s Core Ultra 9 386H processor with NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 5080 Laptop GPU.
The new SKU is listed with 64GB of LPDDR5X-8533 memory a nd a 1TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD. ASUS lists the US price at $4,799, which puts this model above the RTX 5070 Ti configuration that was previously available in the US.






The RTX 5080 Laptop GPU is configured with 16GB of GDDR7 memory. ASUS lists ROG Boost at 135W in Turbo Mode and 160W in Manual Mode. The latter includes 25W of NVIDIA Dynamic Boost.
The system uses a 16-inch ROG Nebula OLED display with a 2560×1600 resolution and 240Hz refresh rate. ASUS also lists a 0.2ms response time, 1100 nits peak brightness, VESA DisplayHDR True Black 1000 certification and NVIDIA G-SYNC support.

Other specifications include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, HDMI 2.1 FRL, Thunderbolt 4, USB-C with DisplayPort, Power Delivery and G-SYNC support, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports and an SD card reader. The laptop has a 90Wh battery, a 250W power adapter and weighs 1.95 kg.

One thing still missing is the special version lacking discrete graphics. ASUS presented such a prototype at CES but it was quietly removed from the show floor and never seen back again. That model would rely only on Arc B390 integrated graphics.
