Silent PC now offers a waterproof Ryzen 9000 desktop for $3,350
Not only fanless, but also waterproof.
Silent PC is now selling what may be one of the strangest Ryzen 9000 desktops available. The company has listed a “Water Proof PC” based on AMD’s Ryzen 9000 series, because apparently the next step after removing fans was removing common sense from the price tag.
The system uses a fully sealed IP65-rated case with no fans , no front USB ports and no audio ports. Cooling is handled by the chassis itself, so the case is basically the heatsink. Silent PC says the system is suitable for boats, dusty factory floors, vehicles, outdoor fields and other places where a normal desktop would start planning its retirement.

The base configuration includes an AMD Ryzen 5 9600X, an ASRock X600TM-ITX Thin Mini-ITX motherboard, 32GB of Crucial DDR5-5600 SO-DIMM memory and an NVMe SSD. The Ryzen 7 9700X option adds $165, which is perhaps the least shocking number on the page.

The price starts at $3,350. That is for a system with integrated graphics, Gigabit Ethernet and passive cooling. Yes, it is sealed, fanless and probably safer near a hose than most gaming PCs, but this is still a desktop with no discrete GPU and a price that enters RTX 5090 territory on a bad day.
Silent PC also notes that all fanless CPUs are wattage-limited to match the cooling capacity of the heatsinks. That means buyers should not expect full desktop Ryzen 9000 behavior in long CPU-heavy workloads.
