Intel Core 3 304 benchmarked again, 5-core Wildcat Lake nears Apple A18 Pro
Intel’s entry-level Core 3 304 has appeared in PassMark with scores close to Apple’s A18 Pro used in the MacBook Neo. The comparison is based on three PassMark’s tests.
According to PassMark, the Core 3 304 has an average CPU Mark score of 11,543 points. The Apple A18 Pro is listed at 11,804 points, which puts Intel’s 5-core Wildcat Lake chip 2.2% behind Apple’s 6-core processor.

The single-thread result is not as close when using the average score. PassMark lists the Core 3 304 at 3,676 points, while the A18 Pro reaches 3,982 points. That puts the Intel chip 7.7% behind in the current average.
The comparison is still interesting because Core 3 304 is a 5-core and 5-thread processor. Apple’s A18 Pro entry lists 6 cores and 6 threads, but PassMark does not provide TDP data for this chip.
