ONEXPLAYER 3 puts pressure on MSI Claw 8 EX AI+ pricing
Still above $1,000.
ONEXPLAYER has launched the ONEXPLAYER 3 on crowdfunding platform, its next handheld based on Intel Arc G3 Extreme. The device uses Intel Arc B390 graphics and ships with Windows 11, according to the company’s launch material. The campaign is scheduled to go live on June 23 at 11 PM Beijing time, which is 5 PM CEST.
Pricing is the main point here. The ONEXPLAYER 3 starts at $1,399 for the 24GB memory and 512GB storage configuration. The 24GB/1TB version costs $1,499, while the 32GB/1TB model is listed at $1,699 on Indiegogo. Early Bird backers also receive a controller connector, magnetic keyboard and protection bag.
Worth noting that 24GB memory version is slower (7467 MT/s), while the 32GB variant has an 8533 MT/s speed (full specs in gallery below).

Much cheaper than MSI Claw and you get AMOLED
That puts the base model $300 to $400 below the MSI Claw 8 EX AI+ , depending on the MSI listing. MSI’s Arc G3 Extreme handheld costs between $1699 to $1,799, with 32GB memory and 1TB storage. We mentioned that MSI explaining why Claw costs this much didn’t make any sense. The company could easily launch a 24GB memory version if they wanted to.
The display is where ONEXPLAYER has the clearer spec advantage. The device uses an 8.8-inch native landscape AMOLED panel with 1920×1200 resolution, HDR support, 100% DCI-P3 coverage, up to 1100 nits peak brightness and 144Hz VRR. MSI’s Claw 8 EX AI+ uses an 8-inch 1920×1200 120Hz touchscreen and lacks an OLED panel.
ONEXPLAYER is also using a modular design. The company lists handheld, tablet, laptop and PC modes, with detachable controllers and a magnetic keyboard. The device has an 85Wh battery, 35W full-power mode, an 11,203 mm² vapor chamber and a 16,644 mm² aluminum fin array.

Arc G3 still expensive
This does not make Arc G3 Extreme handhelds cheap. Even the lowest ONEXPLAYER 3 configuration starts well above $1,000, and this is still crowdfunding pricing rather than retail availability. We still have zero news on Arc G3 non-Extreme variants, but given the cheapest Extreme costs $1400 what are the chances that cheaper Panther Lake for handhelds will be under $1000?
