JONSBO adds ARGB lighting to a 12V-2×6 GPU extension cable
JONSBO has introduced the GPU-H++, a 12V-2×6 extension cable with built-in ARGB lighting. The cable is listed under the company’s DY-2 GPU H++ product name and uses 12+4-pin connectors on both ends.
The product is designed as a visual cover and extension for existing 12V-2×6 GPU power cables. This means it does not replace the PSU cable. It connects between the graphics card and an existing 12V-2×6 cable while adding an illuminated strip over the cable run.

According to JONSBO, the GPU-H++ measures 285mm in total length, while the cable section itself is 240mm long. The cable side is listed for 300V and 7A, while the ARGB lighting uses 5V at 0.81A. The lighting section has a rated power draw of 4.05W. Yes, you are adding 4W to your GPU, or more precisely entire build.

JONSBO also lists “2.1KW” under cable power consumption, which appears to be derived from the 300V and 7A rating. This should not be confused with the actual GPU power limit of the 12V-2×6 connector, which remains defined by the connector and GPU design.
The 12V-2×6 and 12VHPWR connector topic has returned several times with GeForce RTX 5090 reports, including recent cases involving melted cables. We recently covered multiple connector-related reports, including one from a press test system and another from a user who said they inspected the cable regularly before it still melted .
JONSBO is not marketing the GPU-H++ as a safety device. This is an ARGB cable extension for builders who want a cleaner-looking cable run. For users of high-power GPUs, it also adds one more connection point to check during installation. There’s no pricing info yet.
