Halo: Campaign Evolved PC specs confirm 100GB SSD requirement

32GB RAM needed for 4K presets.

Microsoft and Halo Studios have shared the PC system requirements for Halo: Campaign Evolved, the Unreal Engine 5 remake of Halo: Combat Evolved. The game launches on July 28, with early access available from July 23 for Premium Edition buyers.

The minimum requirement targets 1080p at 60 FPS on Low settings. This configuration lists a Ryzen 5 3600 or Core i7-10700K, paired with a GeForce RTX 2060 Super, Radeon RX 6600 or Intel Arc A580 . All presets require Windows 11 22H2 and an SSD with 100GB of free space.

For 1440p at 60 FPS on Medium settings, Halo Studios recommends a Ryzen 7 5700X or Core i5-12600K with a GeForce RTX 3070 or Radeon RX 7600 XT. The 4K High preset raises the GPU requirement to a GeForce RTX 3080 Ti or Radeon RX 9070, while Ultra at 4K lists only the GeForce RTX 4080.

Memory requirements also increase at higher presets. Low and Medium settings list 16GB of system memory and 8GB of VRAM. High and Ultra settings require 32GB of RAM, with 12GB and 16GB of VRAM respectively.

Halo: Campaign Evolved is a campaign-only remake with the original missions rebuilt in Unreal Engine 5. The release also adds Operation: METEORITE, a new three-mission story arc featuring Master Chief and Sgt. Johnson. As we covered earlier, the game is launching on Xbox Series X|S, PC and PlayStation 5.
