AOC launches AGON PRO AGP277QKDC monitor with 540Hz QHD and 720Hz HD OLED modes at €699

AOC AGON PRO AGP277QKDC brings 26.5-inch Tandem WOLED panel

AOC has introduced the AGON PRO AGP277QKDC, a new 26.5-inch gaming monitor based on a fourth-generation Tandem WOLED panel.

The monitor is part of the AGON PRO series and uses a 2560×1440 panel. AOC lists two refresh rate modes. Users can run the panel at QHD resolution with up to 540Hz refresh rate, or switch to HD resolution for up to 720Hz.

540Hz at QHD, 720Hz at HD

The AGP277QKDC follows the same direction as other recent 27-inch-class esports OLED monitors. The 720Hz mode is not available at native resolution. It requires a drop to 1280×720. Honestly I do not know anyone who would use such a resolution on a gaming monitor, even esports player prefer 1080p, so the sooner monitor brands stop adding this option the sooner we can start focusing on 1080p. AOC lists a 0.03 ms GtG response time, 1.5M:1 static contrast ratio and Adaptive-Sync support. The monitor is also listed as NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible.

The panel supports true 10-bit color with 1.07 billion colors. AOC claims 99.5% DCI-P3, 150.9% sRGB and 95.9% Adobe RGB coverage. The monitor also carries VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification. Peak brightness is listed at 1500 nits at 1.5% APL, while full-screen SDR brightness is rated at 335 nits.

The monitor includes a USB hub, KVM switch, PiP/PbP support and a 3.5 mm headphone output. AOC also lists two 5W speakers. The stand supports 150 mm height adjustment, tilt, swivel and pivot. VESA 100×100 mounting is also supported.

AOC provides a 3-year warranty for the AGP277QKDC, including OLED burn-in coverage when panel maintenance is performed according to the company’s instructions.

The monitor is expected to launch in September with a reported price of €699. This converts to around $800 before regional taxes and fees. US availability has not been confirmed.
