Framework opens LPCAMM2 memory bundles for Panther Lake Laptop 13 Pro mainboards

Framework is now selling Intel Core Ultra Series 3 mainboard kits for the Framework Laptop 13 Pro with optional LPCAMM2 memory bundles.

The company says LPCAMM2 retail availability is still limited, so buyers can now add memory directly when placing a mainboard pre-order. Framework also confirmed that the first Core Ultra Series 3 mainboard pre-orders have started shipping.

Panther Lake mainboard from $449

The standalone mainboard kit is listed in two processor options. The Intel Core Ultra 5 325 version costs $449, while the Core Ultra X7 358H version costs $799. Both are currently listed under Batch 15, with shipping expected in October.

Framework also offers four memory choices. Buyers can bring their own LPCAMM2 module or add 16GB for $239, 32GB for $439, or 64GB for $849. This means the cheapest bundle with memory starts at $688, while the Core Ultra X7 358H version with 64GB memory reaches $1,648 before taxes and duties.

Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors, up to 4 Performance cores, 8 Efficient cores and 4 Low Power Efficient cores. The higher-end option also enables up to Intel Arc B390 integrated graphics.

This follows Framework’s earlier Laptop 13 Pro launch with Intel Panther Lake processors and LPCAMM2 memory. We covered the Laptop 13 Pro announcement in April, when Framework listed full systems with Core Ultra 5, Core Ultra X7 and Core Ultra X9 options. A later update confirmed that Laptop 13 Pro system shipments were delayed due to display and touchpad fixes, while the Intel mainboards remained on a separate shipping path. Meanwhile, the Core X9 option has already sold out.
