ASUS release Beta Bios to return TSME features on Granite Ridge Non-PRO parts

The update is available for ROG Crosshair, ROG Strix, TUF Gaming and ProArt models based on X870, B850 and X670 chipsets. The BIOS files were shared through the ASUS ROG forum by SAFEDISK, who notes that older CMO files should not be used with this firmware.
TSME support returns through BIOS
The main change is support for GNR Transparent Secure Memory Encryption, or TSME. In this case, GNR refers to Granite Ridge, AMD’s Ryzen 9000 desktop CPU family. TSME is AMD’s memory encryption feature. It encrypts system memory using a key generated by the AMD Secure Processor at boot. AMD says the feature can run transparently when enabled in BIOS.
This is related to AMD’s recent decision to bring Memory Guard, also known as TSME, back to certain non-PRO Ryzen 9000 desktop processors. We shared that story last week, after AMD confirmed that the BIOS option had been removed in a recent update and would return in July. So yet again AMD is shipping something ahead of scheudle.

The new ASUS beta BIOS appears to be the first visible implementation for a large group of AM5 boards. The X870 series mostly moves to BIOS 2401, B850 boards move to BIOS 1686, while X670 boards move to BIOS 3901 or 3886 depending on the model.
As usual with beta BIOS releases, this is not a final public support-page rollout for every board. Users who depend on stable systems may want to wait for final BIOS builds, but this update confirms that ASUS has already started distributing AGESA 1.3.0.1b Patch A with TSME support for Ryzen 9000 platforms.
