Intel Core Ultra 7 270K Plus below MSRP at Amazon

Intel’s Core Ultra 7 270K Plus is currently selling below its official price range in the US. A current Amazon deal lists the processor at $264.99 with free shipping. The CPU was already discounted to $280 in May following the launch few weeks prior.
That puts the CPU $35 below the lower end of Intel’s $299 recommended price. The CPU spent its first months above MSRP, but the price has now dropped below Intel’s launch target just over two months after availability began.
Arrow Lake Refresh
Intel announced the Core Ultra 200S Plus series on March 11, with retail availability set for March 26. The series added the Core Ultra 7 270K Plus and Core Ultra 5 250K Plus to the Arrow Lake desktop lineup.
The Core Ultra 7 270K Plus is a 24-core desktop processor with 8 Performance cores and 16 Efficient cores. It supports 24 threads, reaches up to 5.5 GHz, and includes 36MB of Intel Smart Cache. The CPU also supports DDR5-7200 memory.
The processor uses the LGA1851 socket and works with Intel 800-series motherboards. It keeps the same 125W base power and 250W maximum turbo power as the Core Ultra 7 265K, but adds four Efficient cores and faster official memory support.
