WireView Pro II White Edition brings per-pin monitoring to white builds
Thermal Grizzly says its WireView Pro II White Edition is now in stock and ready to ship. The update follows the March pre-order launch of the white version of its GPU power monitoring adapter.
The White Edition uses the same core design as the regular WireView Pro II. It connects to graphics cards with a 12V-2×6 connector and acts as a 90-degree adapter while monitoring current, voltage, temperature and power draw. The official product page lists the white model at $146.13 including VAT and before shipping.
Per-pin monitoring is still the main feature
Thermal Grizzly’s second Pro generation measures current per individual pin and wire, not only total GPU power draw. The company says this can help detect uneven load distribution or possible contact problems between the cable and graphics card before connector damage occurs.
The device can show visual warnings on its 320×170 TFT-IPS display and trigger an audible alarm when configured thresholds are exceeded. It can also trigger an automatic system shutdown through the included splitter cable. Cooling is handled by a CNC-machined aluminum housing and a semi-passive 30 mm fan.
WireView Pro II also logs data every 60 seconds. Thermal Grizzly says the internal memory can store around 340 days of continuous logging or roughly 3 to 4 years of typical use before older entries are overwritten. The package includes the WireView Pro II, a USB-C to USB 2.0 internal cable, a Y-splitter cable and two external 10k NTC temperature sensors.
