AMD Olympic Ridge and Mustang Peak Zen 6 CPUs listed by AIDA64
The latest AIDA64 Extreme 8.30.8332 beta, released on June 27, lists support for AMD K1A.18 Mustang Peak CPU and AMD K1A.88 Olympic Ridge CPU. These are early detection entries, basically the ability to name the chip. It does not confirm that AIDA64 developers have any information on the CPU design or specs, only the ID that will help them identify the chip.
Olympic Ridge appears in AIDA64
Olympic Ridge has been linked to AMD’s next desktop Ryzen generation in earlier leaks. The new AIDA64 entry is more specific because it adds the K1A.88 identifier and names the CPU directly in the release notes.
AIDA64 does not identify Olympic Ridge as a desktop product in the notes. It only confirms that the tool is adding preliminary CPU support for this AMD entry. Unofficially, we know this is a potential successor to Ryzen 9000 for AM5 socket: up to Zen6 CPU cores and possibly upgraded NPU at the cost of integrated graphics.

Mustang Peak already appeared in AMD documentation
Mustang Peak is not a new name. AMD’s own documentation recently listed TR6 Mustang Peak under Ryzen Threadripper TR6 Desktop Processors. The same page refers to a Threadripper Pro CPU based on Zen6 “2-nm” cores with DDR5 and PCIe Gen 6 support.
The AIDA64 beta now adds a separate K1A.18 Mustang Peak entry. This suggests hardware monitoring and identification tools are starting to prepare for multiple Zen 6 products, even though AMD has not announced SKUs, clocks, core counts or launch dates.
Other Zen6 codenames that we already know are also present. Release notes also mention K1A.8 Medusa APU, K1A.9 Venice SP8 CPU and K1A.14 Medusa 2/3 APU. The update also adds Intel processor number detection for Xeon 6971E+C, 6982E+C and 6991E+C.
