Nintendo Switch 2 Korea price increase starts September 1
Nintendo Korea has confirmed the new price for Nintendo Switch 2 in South Korea. The console will increase from 648,000 won to 758,000 won on September 1, 2026. This is a 110,000 won increase, or roughly 17%.
Nintendo Korea says the change follows a review of future global business conditions after changes in the market environment. The company also apologized to customers and partners for the inconvenience caused by the price adjustment.

South Korea joins the September adjustment
This is not the first regional Switch 2 price increase announced by Nintendo. Nintendo of America already confirmed that the U.S. MSRP will rise from $449.99 to $499.99 on the same date, September 1, 2026.
For South Korea, the new price remains slightly below the upcoming U.S. MSRP when converted directly to dollars. However, the increase is larger in percentage terms than the U.S. change, which is about 11%.
Nintendo Switch 2 launched in South Korea at 648,000 won in June 2025. The new 758,000 won price will apply from September 1, giving buyers roughly two months to purchase the console at the current local price.
