Radeon RX 9070 XT drops below MSRP, US retailer lists Gigabyte model at $549
The Radeon RX 9070 XT has dropped below AMD’s official $599 MSRP in the US. Walmart is listing the Gigabyte Radeon RX 9070 XT Gaming OC 16GB for $549.99, down from $649.99. The listing is for the black version of the card, model GV-R9070XTGAMING OC-16GD.
This may be a short-lived deal, or one visible only in some sessions or regions. Walmart’s public page cache still shows the same card at a higher $679.99 price, while the live page shared with us shows $549.99. For this reason, buyers should check the final price before checkout.

Current US price check
The $549.99 Walmart price is $50 below the official $599 MSRP. Which means it is also $130 lower than the current Amazon and Newegg price checks listed by PC Gamer for the RX 9070 XT. For comparison, earlier US pricing had only returned to $599 around November 2025 , roughly eight months after the Radeon RX 9070 XT launched.
Gigabyte’s Gaming OC model is a factory-overclocked custom design. Walmart’s product page lists a boost clock of up to 3060 MHz, a game clock of up to 2520 MHz, 16GB of GDDR6 memory and a 256-bit memory bus. The card also uses Gigabyte’s WINDFORCE cooler, dual BIOS and a reinforced metal backplate.
RX 9070 XT pricing has been unstable since launch. The card reached MSRP in the US only months after release, then moved back toward the $699 range earlier this year. This Walmart listing is therefore the first clear sub-MSRP RX 9070 XT deal we have seen from a major US retailer, but it should be treated as a limited-time offer.
