ASUS, Gigabyte, MSI and PNY RTX 3060 cards return in Germany
RTX 3060 is back in German stores
The GeForce RTX 3060 has returned to German retailers, confirming earlier reports that NVIDIA’s Ampere-based graphics card could come back to the market.
According to Hardwareluxx, several German stores now carry GeForce RTX 3060 models from ASUS, Gigabyte, MSI and PNY. The lowest listed price is €333.64 for the ASUS Dual GeForce RTX 3060 OC V2. Geizhals also lists the same ASUS model from €333.64 with 30 offers.

This is not the first sign of an RTX 3060 return. We previously covered the card reappearing in China , where new listings suggested that NVIDIA had resumed supply of the older 12GB model. The German listings now confirm that the card is also back in European retail.
Higher price than last year
Hardwareluxx notes that the same class of RTX 3060 cards was available from €245 in summer 2025. So it’s not like the good old NVIDIA is actually giving gamers a new cheaper option, it is actually more expensive than last year, but still reasonable for a 12GB model in 2026, given the current market situation.
The RTX 3060 still offers 12GB of GDDR6 memory, which remains its main advantage over some newer entry-level cards. However, it is based on the older Ampere architecture and lacks Dynamic Frame Generation and Multi Frame Generation support. DLSS 4.5 Super Resolution is supported, but frame generation features require GeForce RTX 50 series hardware.

Hardwareluxx also points to its recent 8GB GPU testing, where the GeForce RTX 5050, RTX 5060, RTX 5060 Ti and Radeon RX 9060 XT were compared. The site says even the smallest model in that group is faster than the RTX 3060, leaving the 12GB memory capacity as the main argument for the older card.
So not great, not bad either. At least NVIDIA is not ‘unlaunching’ cards now but re-launching.
