Intel Arc G3 handheld launch limited to high-end Extreme models
Intel has released Arc Graphics Driver 32.0.101.8860 WHQL, the latest public Windows driver for Arc GPUs and Core Ultra processors with integrated Arc graphics. The driver page now lists Intel Arc G3 Extreme Processor a s a supported product, but it does not list the regular Arc G3 handheld processor by name.
The release notes are broader. Intel lists Core Ultra Series 3 with built-in Arc GPUs B390 and B370 under Panther Lake support, so this is not proof that B370 graphics lack driver support. It does show that Intel’s first named handheld processor entry is still the Extreme model, not the cheaper Arc G3 SKU.

For buyers, the Arc G3 launch remains narrow. MSI Claw 8 EX AI+ is the only Arc G3 Extreme handheld already on sale, and it uses a single high-end configuration with 32GB LPDDR5X memory and 1TB storage. Pricing sits at $1,699 to $1,799 in the US , depending on the retailer.
ONEXPLAYER 3 is the other confirmed Arc G3 Extreme device with pricing, but it is a crowdfunding product rather than normal retail stock. The entry model starts at $1,399 with 24GB memory and 512GB storage. The 24GB/1TB model costs $1,499, while the 32GB/1TB version is listed at $1,699.
Acer has a handheld too , but they are not expecting to ship it sooner than fall this year. And given their track record, I wouldn’t put my hopes up.

No cheaper Arc G3 option yet
This puts the cheapest Arc G3 Extreme handheld at $1,399 for now. That is about $400 more than the ASUS ROG Xbox Ally X with Ryzen Z2 Extreme, which launched at $999 with 24GB memory, 1TB storage and an 80Wh battery. The MSI model is at least $700 more expensive than the ASUS system.
