Cinder City asks for 64GB RAM in recommended PC specs

Cinder City is another PC game recommending 64GB RAM

Cinder City now has a Steam page, giving PC users the first official system requirements for NC and BigFire Games’ open-world MMO tactical shooter. The game is set in a fallen near-future Seoul and is currently listed as “Coming soon” on Steam.

64GB RAM appears in another recommended PC spec

The listing puts the minimum memory requirement at 32GB. The recommended requirement is 64GB , which is still rare for a PC game. The rest of the recommended configuration includes Windows 10/11, an Intel Core i7-12700 or AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, and a GeForce RTX 4060 with 8GB VRAM.

This is not the first game to list 64GB RAM as a recommended requirement. Escape from Tarkov already lists 64GB RAM in its recommended PC specs, while Seafarer: The Ship Sim also recommends 64GB on Steam . Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 also goes up to 64GB, although Microsoft lists it under the higher Ideal Spec tier, not the regular Recommended Spec.

But only 8GB GPU?

The Cinder City requirements still stand out because the GPU requirement is not in the same class as the memory requirement. A GeForce RTX 4060 is an 8GB mid-range card, yet the game still asks for twice the memory found in many current gaming PCs.
