Intel updates Core Ultra 200S Plus MSRP, Amazon prices still lower
Intel has changed the recommended pricing for its Core Ultra 200S Plus desktop processors. The update was spotted by harukaze5719, who noticed that Intel’s official product pages now list higher Recommended Customer Price ranges for both unlocked Arrow Lake Refresh models.
The Core Ultra 7 270K Plus is now listed at $339 to $349 on Intel ARK. The Core Ultra 5 250K Plus is now listed at $219 to $229. Intel’s launch announcement from March listed these CPUs with suggested prices starting at $299 and $199, respectively.

Amazon pricing still below the new range
Retail pricing has not fully moved to the new Intel range yet. Amazon US listings still appear to be below the new upper range, with the Core Ultra 7 270K Plus shown at $319.99 and the Core Ultra 5 250K Plus at $219.99 in related Amazon listing data. Worth noting that just last week we shared a Prime Day deal for 270K at $265.

That said, the Core Ultra 7 270K Plus did not stay close to Intel’s original $299 price on Amazon after launch. The chip has mostly been sold above the original MSRP on Amazon, although it later saw limited discounts.
The Core Ultra 5 250K Plus is less affected in retail terms. Amazon has kept this model at $219.99 since launch, so the new Intel range now appears to match the price Amazon was already using. The official change may therefore reflect existing retail behavior rather than an immediate price hike for every store.
