Intel Nova Lake-S leak adds 18-core bLLC SKUs to desktop lineup

According to Jaykihn, Intel is preparing two Core Ultra 400 models with 6 P-Cores, 8 E-Cores and 4 LP-E cores. These CPUs would be part of the Core Ultra 400S series, also known as Nova Lake-S.
Two 18-core models planned
The two reported processors use a single compute tile design. Both are said to feature bLLC, or Big Last Level Cache, which is Intel’s larger cache configuration for selected Nova Lake-S desktop parts.
For single compute tile models, earlier leaks pointed to up to 144MB of bLLC. This would place these Core Ultra 5 models below the higher-end dual compute tile parts, but still give them access to the larger cache design. The exact cache size for this SKU is unknown at this moment.
The difference between the two SKUs is said to be power and multiplier support. One model is listed as a 125W unlocked part, while the other is a 65W non-K version.

Nova Lake-S moves to LGA 1954
Although Intel has not confirmed this officially yet, we know for a fact that internal roadmaps confirm Nova Lake will launch as Core 400 series. It’s just a matter of how they will name the dual-tile, bLLC and normal SKUs at this point.
The Nova Lake family is to offer up to 52 cores, DDR5-8000 support and the new LGA 1954 socket. Intel is also expected to keep Socket V cooler compatibility for this platform. Recently we learned that the turbo power limit for the dual-tile variant is up to 474W.
Nova Lake-S is currently expected in 2027. Single compute tile models are reportedly planned first, while dual compute tile variants may arrive later.
