Aoostar sells GODY Mini-PC outside China, just bring your own memory
The GODY is listed at $849 as a barebone system. This means buyers must install their own DDR5 memory and M.2 storage. Aoostar also includes a free Windows 11 Pro key with the barebone option.
The system is based on the AMD Ryzen 9 7940HX, a Zen 4 processor with 16 cores and 32 threads. It is paired with a Radeon RX 7600 XT graphics card. Aoostar does not list the GPU power limit, but it confirms 16GB of graphics memory.
More VRAM, but no SteamOS, memory and storage
Aoostar is now comparing two of its GOD-series mini PCs with Valve’s Steam Machine. The company lists the GODZ as its value option, while the GODY is presented as the higher-performance model.
Both systems are sold as barebone PCs. This means the listed prices do not include memory or storage. Aoostar says the barebone versions include a free Windows 11 Pro key, but buyers still need to install their own DDR5 memory and M.2 SSD.
GODZ starts at $599 barebone
The cheaper model is the Aoostar GODZ. It uses an AMD Ryzen 7 7435HS processor with 8 cores and 16 threads, paired with Radeon RX 6600M graphics with 8GB of memory. The system supports two DDR5-4800 memory modules and two M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0 SSDs. Aoostar lists Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2 and one 2.5GbE port for this model.

GODY uses Ryzen 9 and Radeon RX 7600 XT
The higher-end model is the Aoostar GODY. This system uses the Ryzen 9 7940HX , a 16-core Zen 4 processor with 32 threads. It is paired with Radeon RX 7600 XT graphics.
GODY supports two DDR5-5200 memory modules and two M.2 2280 PCIe 5.0 SSDs. It also upgrades networking to Wi-Fi 7 and includes two 2.5GbE ports. Aoostar currently lists the barebone version at $849.
Aoostar’s own comparison puts both systems against a Steam-style PC (aka Steam Machine without using trademark). The company says GODY can be used with Steam, Steam Big Picture Mode, Windows and compatible Linux gaming systems, but it also states that it is not an official Steam Machine and is not affiliated with Valve. They are clearly not saying anything about SteamOS, which means it is either not supported or Aoostar is simply playing safe.
