Intel confirms higher Core Ultra 7 270K Plus and Core Ultra 5 250K Plus pricing
Intel has confirmed the recent pricing update for its Core Ultra 200S Plus desktop processors. The change affects the Core Ultra 7 270K Plus and Core Ultra 5 250K Plus, two Arrow Lake Refresh models launched in March.
The update was first noticed after Intel changed the Recommended Customer Price values on its official ARK product pages. The Core Ultra 7 270K Plus is now listed at $339 to $349, while the Core Ultra 5 250K Plus is listed at $219 to $229.

Hardwareluxx has now received a statement from Intel’s German press office confirming the change. Intel says the new pricing reflects current market conditions, including higher supply chain costs and strong demand for Core Ultra 200S Plus processors.

Higher than launch guidance
Intel announced the Core Ultra 200S Plus series in March with suggested prices starting from $299 for the Core Ultra 7 270K Plus and $199 for the Core Ultra 5 250K Plus. The new RCP ranges therefore represent an increase of $40 to $50 for the Core Ultra 7 model and $20 to $30 for the Core Ultra 5 model, depending on the listed variant.

Retail prices have not fully moved to the new Intel range yet. The Core Ultra 7 270K Plus has often sold above the original $299 launch guidance, while the Core Ultra 5 250K Plus was already close to the new lower range at some retailers.
The Core Ultra 200S Plus series was introduced as a refresh of Intel’s Arrow Lake desktop lineup. The Core Ultra 7 270K Plus offers 24 cores with 8 P-cores and 16 E-cores, while the Core Ultra 5 250K Plus has 18 cores with 6 P-cores and 12 E-cores. Both CPUs use the LGA-1851 socket and support DDR5-7200 memory.
