ThundeRobot to launch world’s first 16-inch RTX 5070 gaming laptop weighing just 1.64 kg

ThundeRobot teases 1.64 kg 16-inch RTX 5070 gaming laptop

ThundeRobot is preparing a new 16-inch gaming laptop based on Intel Core Ultra 300 series and NVIDIA Blackwell graphics. The company has started teasing the ZERO Air 16, ahead of its showing at Bilibili World 2026.

The system is listed with an Intel Core Ultra 7 356H processor and GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop GPU. The teaser also confirms 32GB of LPDDR5 memory and 1TB storage. ThundeRobot says the laptop uses a carbon fiber chassis.

16-inch RTX 5070 laptop at 1.64 kg

The main point of the teaser is the weight. ThundeRobot lists the ZERO Air 16 at 1.64 kg, which would make it lighter than many 14-inch gaming laptops with similar RTX 50-class graphics.

There is not much competition in this weight range. ASUS ROG models can be lighter, but those are 14-inch laptops. The closest 16-inch system we could find is the LG gram Pro 16, but that laptop uses an RTX 5050 Laptop GPU, not RTX 5070.

Bilibili World reveal next week

The ZERO Air 16 will be shown during Bilibili World 2026. The event takes place from July 10 to July 12 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai. ThundeRobot lists booth 4.1H 4A19 on the teaser.

Pricing and availability have not been confirmed yet. The company has also not listed the RTX 5070 power limit, cooling configuration or display specifications. Those details should decide whether this is closer to a full gaming system or a thin performance laptop using a lower-power RTX 5070 configuration.
