Bigme launches 25.3-inch color E Ink monitor for $1,279
The new model uses a Kaleido 3 color E Ink panel with a 3200×1800 resolution. Bigme’s specifications show 4096 colors, 16 grayscale levels and 145 PPI pixel density. The monitor also supports adjustable warm and cold front lighting.
Bigme calls the B251 PRO the world’s first 25.3-inch color E Ink monitor with up to 60FPS refresh. This is the safer way to read the claim. It is not the first 25.3-inch color E Ink monitor overall, as both DASUNG and BOOX already offer models in this size class.

DASUNG’s 25.3-inch Paperlike Color is advertised as a 33Hz color E Ink monitor. BOOX also launched the Mira Pro Color with a 25.3-inch Kaleido 3 panel, 3200×1800 resolution and 4096-color output. Neither model is promoted with a 60FPS refresh target.
The B251 PRO includes HDMI and DisplayPort inputs, while the USB-C port is listed for firmware upgrades only. Bigme also includes a remote control, and the stand supports tilt and swivel adjustment. The product page shows the monitor at $1,279, down from a listed $1,599 price.
Not ready for gamers
E Ink panels still have limits in pixel response, ghosting and image quality during motion. It may be usable for slow-paced games, visual novels or turn-based titles, but fast shooters, racing games and action games will likely expose the panel’s latency and refresh compromises.
This still makes the B251 PRO a niche display for text-heavy workloads rather than a replacement for LCD or OLED monitors. Kaleido 3 panels support limited color output compared to conventional displays, and refresh performance will still depend on the selected mode and image quality settings.
