GeForce RTX 3060 12GB relaunch reaches Newegg with MSI Ventus model
The retailer is now selling the MSI GeForce RTX 3060 Ventus 2X 12G OC for $329.99. The card is sold and shipped by Newegg, with free shipping and a 30-day return policy. The listing shows the card was first added on July 2, 2026.
We already covered the return of RTX 3060 listings in Germany , but US stock was much harder to verify. Availability in the US was low enough that we did not even manage to cover it before those listings changed or disappeared. This new Newegg listing now gives a clearer sign that the card has returned to the US retail channel.

This time the stock is not from Gigabyte or ASUS, which were among the brands seen in Europe. Newegg is listing an MSI Ventus model with 12GB of GDDR6 memory, a 192-bit memory bus, 3584 CUDA cores and a 1807 MHz boost clock.
Regardless of the board partner, this confirms that the GeForce RTX 3060 has been relaunched in retail. The RTX 3060 originally launched in 2021, but its 12GB memory configuration still makes it stand out against some newer entry-level RTX 40 and RTX 50 models with narrower memory configurations.
RTX 5060 is better option
RTX 5060 is about 40% to 55% faster than RTX 3060 in current 1080p gaming tests, despite having 8GB of memory instead of 12GB. The older card still has a VRAM advantage, but this only helps in selected memory-limited cases and does not offset the wider performance and efficiency gap.
Specs explain most of the gap. RTX 5060 has 3840 CUDA cores, Blackwell architecture, DLSS 4, Multi Frame Generation, 8GB GDDR7 and a 145W TGP. RTX 3060 has 3584 CUDA cores, Ampere architecture, 12GB GDDR6 and a 170W board power rating.
You can find RTX 5060 for just $20 more, but the card shouldn’t even cost this much. This 8GB card was announced with $299 MSRP, but it’s increasingly harder to find at this price.
