Noctua plans black NL-LC1 AIO coolers after standard launch
© Noctua (Modified) The company confirmed the NL-LC1 chromax.black series through its official YouTube account. Noctua replied to a user asking about the black version and said the “Noctua NL-LC1 chromax black series” is confirmed.
Noctua added that the cooler is “hopefully” planned around the end of the year. This is not a formal launch date, and the product is not listed on Noctua’s current public roadmap .
The standard NL-LC1 series launched on June 16 as Noctua’s first AIO cooler lineup. It is available in 240mm, 360mm and 420mm versions. The 240mm and 360mm models use NF-A12x25 G2 fans, while the 420mm version uses NF-A14x25 G2 fans.

All three coolers are based on the Asetek Emma V2 platform and include Noctua’s NL-PNA1 pump noise absorber. The pump has three speed profiles: quiet, balanced and manual. Noctua also ships the coolers with NT-H2 thermal paste and covers them with a 6-year warranty.

The standard models are priced at $219.90 for the NL-LC1-24, $249.90 for the NL-LC1-36 and $279.90 for the NL-LC1-42. Noctua also offers the optional NL-ACF1 auxiliary fan for $19.90, which replaces the magnetic pump faceplate and adds airflow around VRMs, memory and M.2 SSDs.
This will be a useful addition for users who want Noctua’s liquid cooler but do not want the brown and beige color scheme. And I believe there are many of such users.
