GMKtec EVO-X3 launches with Radeon 8060S graphics and 128GB LPDDR5X
GMKtec has launched the EVO-X3, a compact mini PC based on AMD’s Ryzen AI Max+ 395 processor. This is the full Strix Halo configuration with 16 Zen 5 CPU cores and Radeon 8060S integrated graphics with 40 RDNA 3.5 Compute Units.
The system ships with 128GB of LPDDR5X-8000 memory. GMKtec offers two storage configurations, 2TB and 4TB, both using M.2 PCIe 4.0 SSDs. The product page also shows two M.2 2280 slots, with support for up to 16TB of storage.
Same core specs as Ryzen AI Halo, $400 lower
The base EVO-X3 configuration costs $3,600 with 128GB memory and a 2TB SSD. The 4TB version is priced at $3,849. GMKtec is also offering a free three-month Z.AI membership for orders placed from July 6 to July 15.

The 128GB and 2TB model has the same core platform configuration as AMD’s Ryzen AI Halo Developer Platform . AMD’s system also uses the Ryzen AI Max+ 395, Radeon 8060S graphics, 128GB LPDDR5X-8000 memory and a 2TB SSD. Micro Center shows the Windows 11 Pro version at $4000, so GMKtec’s model is $400 cheaper in the same memory and storage class.
There are some platform differences. AMD’s Ryzen AI Halo system includes 10GbE LAN, while GMKtec lists 2.5GbE, Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4. GMKtec also adds an OCuLink PCIe 4.0 x4 port, which can be used for external GPU expansion.
