Lexar reportedly plans DDR5-7600 CL38 memory kits using CXMT DRAM
MSI yesterday showed DDR5 memory based on CXMT DRAM running above 8000 MT/s on an AMD platform. The screenshots confirmed the use of Lexar modules, but they did not reveal a retail series or launch configuration.
A Chinese media report now claims that Lexar is preparing new THOR RGB DDR5 memory kits based on ChangXin Memory Technologies DRAM. The series is referred to as “Thunder God II” in translation, which appears to be the Chinese branding for Lexar’s THOR RGB DDR5 lineup.
Retail CXMT DDR5 kits reportedly move above 6000 MT/s
According to the report, Lexar is preparing two 32GB dual-channel kits. Both use two 16GB modules and are expected to launch in DDR5-7200 CL38 and DDR5-7600 CL38 configurations.
The faster kit reportedly uses the LD5U16G76C38BV module name. CPU-Z data shown in the report lists a 16GB DDR5 module running at 7600 MT/s with CL38 timings and 1.40V.

Yesterday’s screenshots showed that CXMT-based Lexar memory could be pushed past 8000 MT/s, while the new report points to factory-rated retail kits up to 7600 MT/s.
CXMT-based DDR5 memory has mostly appeared in mainstream-speed modules so far. If the report is accurate, Lexar would be among the first brands to offer retail overclocking kits using CXMT DRAM at speeds well above 6000 MT/s.
I was unable to find any official information from Lexar themselves. They did not launch a new product page for these THOR RGB CXMT-based kits.
