Thermaltake Dockpower FI Gold PSUs feature native 600W 12V-2×6 cable
Thermaltake Dockpower FI PSU separates cables from the power supply.
Thermaltake has introduced the Dockpower FI series, a new lineup of ATX 3.1 power supplies with a detachable modular cable dock. The design separates the PSU body from the modular connector section. Thermaltake calls this a Docking Power Architecture. The dock module can stay connected to the system cables while the main PSU unit is removed or replaced.
The Dockpower FI series will be available in 750W, 850W, 1000W and 1200W models. Thermaltake also plans black and Snow versions. All models use 80 PLUS Gold certification and support PCIe Gen 5.1.

A PSU designed around upgrades
The main idea is to reduce cable work during installation or replacement. Users can attach the cables to the dock module first and then connect the module to the PSU body. This should also make upgrades easier, since the main PSU unit can be swapped without removing the cable routing.
Thermaltake uses a dedicated connection between the PSU body and dock module. The connector uses 30μ gold-plated contacts. The dock is secured with D-ring screws.
The series includes a native 12V-2×6 connector rated for up to 600W. Thermaltake also uses a dual-color design on the 12V-2×6 connector to help users check whether the cable is fully inserted.
The specifications show a 135mm hydraulic bearing fan, active PFC, a single +12V rail and a minimum MTBF of 100,000 hours. The units measure 150 × 86 × 160 mm.
