ASUS ROG Crosshair X870E Edition 20 bundle already listed 10% above MSRP
The ASUS ROG Crosshair X870E Edition 20 and ROG Ryujin 360 Edition 20 bundle has appeared at the first European retailers, but not at the price ASUS announced.
ASUS previously said the limited ROG Edition 20 motherboard and AIO cooler bundle would cost €2,999. However, listings from LDLC and Materiel.net now show the product at €3,299.95. ASUS announced the ROG Crosshair X870E Edition 20 with ROG Ryujin 360 Edition 20 AIO at €2,999 , with availability planned for late July to early August. The first French retail listings now show the bundle at €3,299.95 , which is €300.95 higher , or about 10% above the announced price .
The issue is that this is a limited anniversary product, not a regular retail launch. ASUS should have more control over allocation, retail partners and pricing. If selected retailers can list limited ROG Edition 20 hardware above the official price before launch, the MSRP becomes more of a reference number than a real launch price.

This also connects well to the ROG Astral RTX 5090 Edition 20 situation . ASUS already announced a high official price for that model, but launch pricing still moved above expectations at retail. The same pattern now appears with the motherboard and AIO bundle.
Proshop Denmark also has the bundle listed, but at 22,990 DKK , which converts to about €3,082 . That is still above €2,999, but the French listings are the clearest example because LDLC and Materiel.net both show €3,299.95 and claim stock within seven days.

This is not a regular retail product with broad availability. The ROG Edition 20 series is a limited anniversary lineup, which means allocation is expected to be narrow and handled through selected retailers. ASUS should have more control over where these units are sold.
This is also high-priced niche hardware aimed at ROG collectors and the most committed buyers. For that audience, a €300 markup may not change much. The bigger question is why ASUS announces an official price at all if selected retailers can list the product above it before launch.
