Intel reportedly plans 12 Xe3P graphics for Nova Lake-H and one desktop SKU

Known Intel leaker Jaykihn has confirmed today which mobile Nova Lake SKUs will feature Xe3p and Xe3 GPU architectures specifically. Mobile Nova Lake-H will feature a 12 Xe segment based on Xe3P, but the cut-down variant will also have Xe graphics, except the non-P variant. Worth adding that Nova Lake-S will have one 12 Xe3p SKU , confirming the desktop part mentioned in previous leaks.

We already covered that desktop chip in April. At the time, the leaked configuration was listed as 4 P-cores, 8 E-cores, 4 low-power E-cores and 12 Xe3P graphics cores. Jaykihn also claimed that this desktop SKU would require two VCCGT VRM phases, which points to a stronger graphics block than Intel usually uses on socketed desktop CPUs.

12 Xe3P for mobile Nova Lake

Nova Lake-H is now said to include several SKUs with 12 Xe3P graphics. These chips would replace Panther Lake mobile designs with 12 Xe3 graphics cores, while lower-end Nova Lake variants are expected to keep 4 Xe or 2 Xe configurations.

Intel has already started upstream Linux driver work for Nova Lake-P with Xe3P_LPG graphics. That does not confirm the full SKU stack, but it shows that Xe3P support for Nova Lake has been in public driver code for month, it is simply not yet ‘fully’ official.

Intel Xe3p, aka the proper C-Series “Celestial”

The “C” branding is borrowed from Celestial, but Celestial is the codename for Intel’s discrete GPU architecture. Given what we have already heard about Intel’s Xe3P dGPU plans, it may never reach the consumer market as a standalone graphics card. Intel has officially announced Xe3P for Crescent Island , a data center GPU, and confirmed that the same graphics architecture will power “next-gen PCs.” That almost certainly refers to these Nova Lake variants.

It always amazes me that companies announce data center products months or even years in advance, but still avoid confirming consumer products that are clearly using the same technology.

Intel has not confirmed Nova Lake-H specifications, Xe3P core counts, clocks, memory support, or launch timing. The first Nova Lake products should appear by the end of this year, with a larger rollout starting from the first quarter of next year.
