Minisforum MS-03 pairs Core Ultra 9 386H with up to 128GB RAM
The compact PC market was clearly short of another workstation supporting 128GB of RAM, so Minisforum has introduced the MS-03. The system replaces the MS-01 and upgrades it with Intel’s Panther Lake platform.
The MS-03 uses the Core Ultra 9 386H , a 16-core processor with four Cougar Cove P-cores, eight Darkmont E-cores and four low-power E-cores. Its integrated GPU has four Xe3 cores, so this is not one of the more graphics-focused Panther Lake configurations.
Minisforum says the system supports up to 128GB of DDR5-7200 memory . It also has three M.2 2280 slots and a physical PCIe x16 slot for low-profile expansion cards. Two USB4 ports provide another option for external storage, networking or graphics hardware.
Networking is where the MS-03 starts looking less like a regular mini-PC. It has two 10GbE SFP+ ports using an Intel X710 controller, one 10GbE RJ45 port and another 2.5GbE connection. Minisforum suggests using the system for local AI, virtualization, routing, storage and edge computing workloads.
More importantly, just like all previous MS PCs from Minisforum, you can actually put a proper discrete GPU inside this PC. It will be limited to 75W and it will run at max 8 PCIe lanes, and only in low-profile form factor.

Pricing and availability have not been announced. Minisforum is already offering subscribers a launch-day coupon worth $50, but it has forgotten to mention what number the $50 will be deducted from. It is technically a discount, just not yet a measurable one.
