HWiNFO 8.50 improves Intel Nova Lake and NVIDIA GPU monitoring
HWiNFO 8.50 adds measured NVIDIA core, memory and XBAR clock monitoring.
HWiNFO has released version 8.50 of its hardware information and sensor monitoring software. The update adds measured core, memory and XBAR clock readings for NVIDIA GPUs.
These readings provide additional clock telemetry alongside the existing NVIDIA GPU sensors. HWiNFO does not specify whether the new values require a particular GPU architecture or driver version.
Nova Lake and Claw 8 improvements
The release also improves support for Intel Nova Lake processors and updates the integrated Intel PresentMon components. Sensor monitoring has been expanded for systems based on the Maxsun 275HX series.
MSI Claw 8 owners can now monitor the handheld’s fan speed through HWiNFO. It is not specified which version, so presumably all 8 series handhelds (Intel Lunar Lake, Panther Lake and AMD Strix Point). Other additions include ACPI version reporting, Display Audio capability information and an option to change the on-screen display background color.
Version 8.50 fixes missing Custom and WHEA sensors that were reported in an earlier beta build. It also fixes AMD Radeon RX 6500 XT recognition, Arrow Lake NGU clock reporting and a possible crash caused by sensor names exceeding the supported length.
