GIGABYTE Gaming OC model receives a $50 Newegg discount
The Radeon RX 9070 GRE has already dropped below its suggested retail price in the US. Newegg lists the GIGABYTE Gaming OC model at $549.99, but an extra $50 promo code lowers the final price to $499.99.
Newegg requires customers to submit an email address to reveal the promotional code. The same email address may need to be associated with the Newegg account used for the purchase.
AMD launched the Radeon RX 9070 GRE globally on June 2 at a suggested price of $549. The GIGABYTE model is therefore available for $49 below MSRP just over one month after the card reached international retailers.

The GIGABYTE Gaming Radeon RX 9070 GRE features 3,072 Stream Processors and 12GB of GDDR6 memory connected through a 192-bit interface. This factory-overclocked model has a boost clock of up to 2,920 MHz, compared with AMD’s reference specification of 2,790 MHz.
We told you that the RX 9070 GRE price made zero sense, and I’m surprised it took this long for price to drop. The bad news is that this promo is limited to one US retailer and one card only. But it’s progress.
