Lenovo lists ThinkPad E14 Gen 8 and E16 Gen 4 with Wildcat Lake CPUs
Lenovo has added Wildcat Lake configurations of the ThinkPad E14 Gen 8 and ThinkPad E16 Gen 4 to its Product Specifications Reference database. These are the first ThinkPad models listed with Intel’s lower-cost Core Series 3 platform. Both laptops are also available with Panther Lake processors.
The Wildcat Lake options include the Core 5 315, Core 5 320, Core 5 330 and Core 7 360. Each processor has two P-cores and four low-power E-cores, giving the chips six cores and six threads. Maximum P-core frequencies range from 4.4 GHz to 4.8 GHz.
These processors include integrated Intel Graphics rated at up to 18 to 21 TOPS. Their NPUs provide between 15 and 17 TOPS, which places the systems in Lenovo’s AI PC category but below the 40-TOPS requirement for Copilot+ PCs.
Wildcat Lake configurations are limited to one DDR5-5600 SO-DIMM slot with up to 32GB of memory. They also have one M.2 2242 PCIe 4.0 slot supporting SSDs up to 1TB. By comparison, Panther Lake versions support two memory slots and two M.2 storage slots.
The E14 offers 14-inch WUXGA and 2.8K display options, while the E16 is available with 16-inch WUXGA and WQXGA panels. Selected displays support a 120 Hz refresh rate.
Lenovo has not announced pricing or a release date for either Wildcat Lake model.
