Lenovo launches two Strix Halo laptops
Lenovo has launched two 15.3-inch laptops powered by AMD Strix Halo processors in China. The YOGA Pro 15 uses the Ryzen AI Max+ 388, while the Legion R9000X 2026 receives the faster Ryzen AI Max+ 392. Both configurations include 64GB of LPDDR5X-8000 memory and a 1TB SSD.
Two versions of AMD’s 40-CU Strix Halo processor
The Ryzen AI Max+ 388 has eight Zen 5 cores and 16 threads. The Ryzen AI Max+ 392 increases this to 12 cores and 24 threads. Both processors retain the full Radeon 8060S configuration with 40 RDNA 3.5 Compute Units, a 50 TOPS XDNA 2 NPU and a configurable power range of up to 120W.
The YOGA model focuses on touchscreen and drawing features. Its seven-inch touchpad can operate as a drawing surface and supports a Wacom stylus with 4,096 pressure levels. The Legion uses a second-generation QianKun cooling system and supports a 120W performance mode, despite weighing 1.55 kg.
Both systems use 64GB of LPDDR5X-8000 connected through a 256-bit interface. This memory is shared between the CPU and Radeon 8060S graphics. Lenovo has only launched these configurations in China, and neither model has received confirmed US pricing or availability.
The YOGA Pro 15 is priced at 19,999 RMB, around $2,950 before tax. The Legion R9000X costs 20,999 RMB, around $3,100.
