AMD unveils limited VCTCN Ryzen 7 9800X3D and Radeon RX 9070 XT

AMD has introduced its VCTCN 2026 Collector’s Edition hardware collection at BilibiliWorld 2026 in Shanghai. The lineup includes limited versions of the Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor and Radeon RX 9070 XT graphics card . Lenovo has also prepared matching Legion R9000P laptop and Blade 7000P desktop systems.

The Ryzen 7 9800X3D Collector’s Edition retains the standard model’s eight Zen 5 cores, 16 threads and boost clock of up to 5.2 GHz. It also has 96MB of L3 cache through AMD’s second-generation 3D V-Cache design. AMD has not announced any frequency or specification changes for this version.

The Radeon RX 9070 XT receives a more extensive visual redesign. The card has a black shroud, three red fans and VCTCN branding. It retains 64 Compute Units, 4,096 Stream Processors and 16GB of GDDR6 memory on a 256-bit interface. No changes to clock speeds or board power have been disclosed.

It’s no secret that the GPU is based on RX 9070 XT NITRO from Sapphire. They are showing two designs, one with a beige and one with a black shroud and red fans. Which one is real? I’m not sure.

The collection also includes a Lenovo Legion R9000P gaming laptop with a 16-core Ryzen 9 9955HX processor. It has a 16-inch 2560×1600 display with a 240Hz refresh rate and HDR1000 certification. A matching Lenovo Blade 7000P desktop completes the four-product series.

AMD says the Collector’s Edition products will not be offered through normal retail channels. The hardware will instead be distributed through activities and prize draws during the VCTCN China Finals in Chengdu later this year.
