Lenovo returns to cloud gaming handhelds with Legion C700
Lenovo has teased the Legion C700, a new handheld designed around Tencent’s START cloud gaming service. The company showed the device in white and confirmed that more information will follow in August.
The C700 uses an asymmetrical controller layout with offset analog sticks, a D-pad and ABXY buttons. Lenovo’s images also show rear buttons and a large vented section, although the internal hardware has not been disclosed.
The screen displays the Tencent START interface with a selection of streamed PC games. Tencent offers START across Windows, macOS, Android, TVs, browsers and compatible handheld devices, allowing supported games to run without a local installation.

Lenovo returns to its earlier cloud handheld concept
The C700 follows the unreleased Lenovo Legion Play discovered in 2021. That Android-based handheld was designed with a 7-inch Full HD display, HDR10 support and a 7000 mAh battery, but Lenovo never released it commercially.
Lenovo has not confirmed the C700 specs and pricing. The company’s teaser only confirms that further details will be announced in August.
