Did anyone notice NVIDIA stopped giving away RTX 5090 model?
NVIDIA has revealed a custom GeForce RTX 5080 Founders Edition created for Gears of War: E-Day. The graphics card will not be sold and is being offered to one winner through NVIDIA’s Summer of RTX campaign.
The card uses the standard RTX 5080 Founders Edition design with a custom exterior wrap based on artwork from Gears of War: E-Day. NVIDIA describes it as a one-of-a-kind model created to promote the game’s October 6 launch.
The giveaway is part of NVIDIA’s GeForce Summer Nights promotion. Users can enter through NVIDIA GeForce posts published on X, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitch, Reddit, and Discord.

NVIDIA tech in new Gears of War
Gears of War: E-Day will launch with DLSS 4.5, Dynamic Multi Frame Generation, DLSS Super Resolution, and NVIDIA Reflex. The PC version will also use Unreal Engine 5.8 f eatures including Lumen, MegaLights, and Nanite.
A PC beta begins on August 6 for customers who pre-order the game and for PC Game Pass subscribers. The beta will include DLSS Super Resolution and NVIDIA Reflex, while the full game launches on October 6.
