AMD's software team appears to be busy getting ready for next week's Advancing AI event happening next week in San Francisco. In addition to the release today of the Lemonade 11.0 local AI server , TheRock 7.14 was also tagged as the modern build system for ROCm working on the latest tech preview releases of this open-source AMD GPU compute stack.

TheRock 7.14 was tagged today to align for the ROCm 7.14 tech preview stack. No detailed release notes have yet to be published and the official documentation continues to point to ROCm 7.13 being the latest tech preview, but in any case TheRock 7.14 was tagged earlier and now available for those interested in making use of the latest AMD GPU compute capabilities.

From what I have been able to dig up, AMD ROCm "TheRock" 7.14 brings AI training enhancements for different data types, a variety of mostly minor performance enhancements but some seeing 10~16% improvements for select AI workloads like Comfy UI, and continuing to improve the Microsoft Windows support for ROCm. There have also been a variety of bug fixes and different enhancements targeting specific Radeon and Instinct hardware.

Hopefully the official release notes / documentation make it out soon but for those eager to try out the latest ROCm tech preview capabilities can find TheRock 7.14 via GitHub . We'll see what more announcements come next week out of AMD Advancing AI in San Francisco.
