In addition to the CPU, the voltage regulators (VRMs) and the M.2 NVMe SSD located below the CPU socket are actively cooled, providing comprehensive liquid cooling for all key thermal zones of the motherboard.

The Apex Monoblock ROG STRIX X870E-E Gaming Wi-Fi is an exception, as it actively cools the three M.2 NVMe SSDs located below the CPU socket. As with previous Apex Monoblocks, Alphacool utilizes an offset cold plate. This design directs coolant flow precisely toward the thermal hotspot of the AM5 CPU. Combined with the proven Cross-Slot fin structure and the 3D Jetplate 2.0, it generates high water pressure for exceptionally efficient heat dissipation.
