Snapdragon X PCs get a redesigned control panel with GPU and NPU updates
In case you are not familiar with Qualcomm software, Adreno Control Center was released last year and replaced with Snapdragon Control Center just a few months later.
Qualcomm has just released Snapdragon Control Panel version 2026.2.0.0 for Windows PCs powered by Snapdragon processors. The update redesigns several parts of the application and adds direct access to Hexagon NPU driver downloads.
The Software Update page now combines updates for Snapdragon Control Panel, Adreno GPU drivers and Hexagon NPU drivers. Qualcomm has also revised the installation status interface to provide clearer information about available and installed updates.
Redesigned game library and optimization tools

The Game Library navigation has been redesigned with more consistent controls for adding and removing favorite games. The application can now save and restore the navigation sidebar state, while the top-level back button has been removed. The company did not list any performance improvements for the Adreno GPU in this release.
The one-click game optimization workflow has received fixes covering optimization, rollback and game library refresh operations. This feature remains limited to PCs using first-generation Snapdragon X processors.
Interestingly, this update launched over a week ago, but I wasn’t able to find any actual screenshot of the new version, perhaps VideoCardz readers can help.
