Lenovo Legion C700 cloud handheld launches in August with 120Hz display
Lenovo has revealed the first hardware specifications for its Legion C700 cloud gaming handheld. The company previously confirmed that the device was developed with Tencent for its START cloud gaming service.
The Legion C700 will feature a 7.82-inch IPS display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Lenovo says the Tencent START integration will provide access to hundreds of supported games without requiring users to download them to the handheld.

Lenovo has equipped the C700 with TMR thumbsticks and Hall Effect linear triggers. Both technologies use magnetic sensors instead of conventional contact-based potentiometers, which should reduce mechanical wear during long-term use.
The controls also include an omni-directional D-pad and four programmable buttons. Lenovo has placed two of these buttons on the back, while the other two are positioned next to the shoulder buttons.
Lenovo has not disclosed the processor, memory, storage or battery capacity. The company has also not confirmed the operating system or whether the C700 will support locally installed games and streaming services other than Tencent START.
The Legion C700 is scheduled for release in August. Lenovo has not announced its price or availability outside China, where Tencent currently operates the START cloud gaming platform.
