Exactly a week after the game crossed the two-million-sales mark—in less than 24 hours, no less —Ubisoft has announced that Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced has officially sold three million units. Black Flag Resynced has also managed fairly decent player retention, with SteamDB still reporting around 45,000-60,000 peak concurrent daily players on Steam.

Black Flag Resynced is also still delivering in terms of revenue, sitting in fifth place in the Steam Top Sellers chart , which measures financial performance. Reviews also continue to trend positive, despite early user reviews on Steam taking a dim view of the in-game microtransactions. In the X post announcing the sales figures, Ubisoft confirms that the remake will get more content later in the form of New Game+ gameplay, although it's unclear what shape this will take or when it will launch.
