Lenovo Lecoo Pro14 features Ryzen 7 H 255, OCuLink and USB4 for around $679
Lenovo has listed the Lecoo Pro14, a 14-inch laptop equipped with an AMD Ryzen 7 H 255 processor (H is special Chinese variant) and an OCuLink connector for external graphics cards. An official Lenovo webstore listing showed the 32GB and 1TB configuration at 4,599 yuan, equivalent to around $679 or €583 before tax.
The Ryzen 7 H 255 is a member of AMD’s Ryzen 200 series based on the Hawk Point design. It has eight Zen 4 cores, 16 threads and a boost clock of up to 4.9 GHz. The processor includes Radeon 780M graphics with 12 compute units running at up to 2.6 GHz.
© Lenovo Lenovo reportedly configures the processor to sustain up to 65W in the Lecoo Pro14. The laptop uses a dual-fan cooling system with two heat pipes. An OCuLink port provides a direct PCIe connection for an external GPU, while USB4 offers a second option for connecting graphics docks and other high-bandwidth devices.
The laptop has a 14-inch IPS display with a resolution of 2880×1800, a 120Hz refresh rate and brightness of up to 400 nits. Lenovo lists 100% coverage of the sRGB color space and DC dimming support. The chassis weighs around 1.45 to 1.48 kg and measures between 16.9 and 17.9 mm thick, depending on the Lenovo product page.
Memory and storage are replaceable. The 32GB configuration uses two 16GB DDR5-5600 SO-DIMMs, while two M.2 2280 positions provide support for additional storage.
© Lenovo Other connections include three USB Type-A ports, HDMI, Gigabit Ethernet, a microSD card reader and a 3.5 mm audio jack. Lenovo also fitted an 80Wh battery and includes a 100W USB-C power adapter.
