A female pedestrian has been struck by a vehicle in Scarborough Monday night.
Toronto police were called to Markham Road and Highway 401 just before 9:30 p.m. for reports of a collision.
She was rushed to hospital with serious, life-threatening injuries.
The northbound lanes of Markham Road were closed at Progress Avenue for an investigation. Delays are expected in the area.
