Intel Arc G3 driver support now covers B370 and B390 handheld chips
Intel has released Graphics Driver 32.0.101.8864 beta for Windows 10 and Windows 11. The current package lists both the Intel Arc G3 Extreme Processor and Intel Arc G3 Processor among supported products. Named support for the standard model first appeared with beta driver 32.0.101.8861 on July 7 and remains present in version 8864.
We reported on July 1 that WHQL driver 32.0.101.8860 named only the Arc G3 Extreme Processor. Its release notes already covered Panther Lake processors with Arc B390 and Arc B370 graphics, so the missing entry did not prove that the B370 GPU lacked functional driver support. However, Intel had not listed the standard Arc G3 Processor as a supported product by name.
© Intel The standard Arc G3 and Arc G3 Extreme use the same 14-core CPU configuration with 2 Performance cores, 8 Efficient cores and 4 Low Power Efficient cores. The main differences are GPU configuration, clock speeds and the upper configurable power limit. Arc G3 Extreme has an Arc B390 GPU with 12 Xe3 cores, while Arc G3 uses an Arc B370 GPU with 10 Xe3 cores.
Among announced gaming handhelds, Acer’s Predator Atlas 8 is the only model confirmed with the standard Arc G3 option. Acer lists configurations with either the Arc G3 or Arc G3 Extreme Processor. The MSI Claw 8 EX AI+ and ONEXPLAYER 3 have only been announced with the Arc G3 Extreme.
The Predator Atlas 8 is scheduled to launch in October 2026 across North America, EMEA and Australia.
