In May, CD Projekt Red announced the Songs of the Past DLC for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt as a last hurrah as Geralt before the launch of The Witcher 4, although it has played its cards close to its chest. Now, it has been revealed by the official The Witcher account on X that players will be able to "catch a glimpse of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Songs of the Past" at Gamescom opening night.

It's unclear how much will be revealed about the upcoming DLC, but it seems likely that we will simply get some gameplay footage or a new trailer, since previous official announcements have slated 2027 as the launch date for the DLC. The studio will reveal whatever new information it has planned about the DLC at Gamescom, on August 25 at 18:00 UTC.
